Great service and outstanding technical knowledge. First, they were pretty swamped and first opening was a month out. Within a week, got a call saying a slot opened up and I could bring my boat in early. Really appreciated the call as fishing season was about to start.
Had an issue with shifting that two other shops couldn’t figure out. Within a day or so of diagnosing, they figured it out and fixed it. Have been running the engine with no shifting issues since then!
Will be back next year for sure for my annual service.

Did not complete the full scope of work and charged more than was quoted. No call to inform me they were running into issues. They did make a small adjustment but now I have to bring my boat to Port Townsend to get the work completed.

Charged $380 to drop off an engine when they said they didn't know when they could get to it. When I complained about this extortionate and unnecessary charge I was told that's their policy and if I didn't like it I could never come back. Noted and recommending others do the same. Must be nice to have a captured market where you can treat customers like trash after zero work and charging for it.

I was extremely disappointed. I took an older boat with a 1985 engine and agreed to pay $450 for Diagnostics. They were going to test all of the components of the engine and let me know what needed to be done. When I picked up the boat, I got a list of all the Cosmetic problems with my boat. They said that the transmission oil needed to be changed but I had just changed it 2 hours ago. They said there was fuel flooding from the carburetor, but I could see that when we first started the engine. That's why I took it into them. They did not give me the compression tests or the status of each of the electrical components as they indicated they would do when they did their tests. I don't have a problem paying people for their diagnostic skills. I do have a problem when I don't even get the reports that I wanted and they don't tell me anything that I didn't already know.
Update: I did get the report from them. Still not sure why they didn't do the initial tests in the first hour and then call to see if I wanted it to proceed. They did give me a discount on the parts to do some of the repairs. Their part prices are reasonable. Just disappointed in the service.
