Prices have been going up for months, today it was the last straw, one small pack of ice for $5.49. You kidding me? Then I drove to Coop and got the same pack for the same $2.99 I'm used to pay.
And decided to change my review here from 5 stars to one... and no more groceries at this abusive place...

Cons:
- Veggie quality has really gone downhill.
- ignored rotting veggies on shelves. (2022)
- squished containers
- unsightly item in cucumber (2024)
- outrageous prices, (thrifty kitchens roast beef $5/100g) hahaha. Nope. Or deli meat ($17.00 at thrifty's or $14 at Walmart)
- The stuffed animals are adorable but not worth $20 plus
Pros:
- sometimes friendly cashier's
- flower and plant section affordability
- close to home
- scene+ card to add up points to get rewards
Possibilities:
- Because save on foods is now doing price match, maybe that's something thrifty foods would consider doing as well.

Our cashier was very friendly and seemed happy to serve us. Was definitely a highlight of a regular day shopping.
The store is clean and orderly with quality products. Compared to other local grocers I don't worry about expired food or poorly stored meat that doesn't last until the expiration date.

veerrrrrryy expensive groceries, just like save on or whole foods. this is probably bec i saw loads of vegan friendly options and organic. good quality so $$$$$ we would buy the local produce again if it was labeled a bit bigger so we don't have to rummage through the usual aisle sections. so far there are room for improvement still.
they have the usual basked goods, meat, dairy, snacks, liquids, kitchen/laundry items, pet products, reading materials, etc but
not much electronics and no pharmacy.

Highly recommend checking out their floral section and new garden stock. The dahlia bulbs are an incredible price. The tubers roots have multiple legs and some even have sprouts! Healthy and ready for planting.
