I have dental anxiety and have always been made to feel comfortable here. They check in with me multiple times throughout the visit to make sure I’m still doing alright and remind me to let them know if I need a break or if I’m uncomfortable. The front desk and hygienists are always so friendly and lovely to deal with. I had a bad break in a tooth that was really visible when I smile— Dr. Sheppard decided to go ahead and do the filling even though my appt was just for an initial assessment, and gave me back my smile!! I’m so grateful and was smiling all the way on my drive home!
Never go see Dr Sheppard. He messed up my mom’s root canal and burnt a hole through her gums and didn’t even get the root. Very upset with the lack of empathy and incompetence. Guaranteeing and assuring her he’s done this 1000% times. For my mom, she has trauma involving dentist and mistrust. He trusted him. And he went ahead for the $ and insurance coverage. If he doesn’t have the skill to complete such a procedure he shouldn’t be doing them. If he encounters problems during the procedure. He should stop. Again, do not go see Dr Sheppard.

New to Victoria from Kingston Ontario were I had a very good dentist and hygienist and was a little worried about getting a new dental office here. I was way wrong Admirals Walk Dental office is AMAZING !!! From there front desk staff to the great hygienist to the young but very capable dentist were first class. I was made to feel welcomed and treated with great kindness and skill I'm very impressed Highly recommend
As a first time patient, I’m very pleased with my experience. Initial appointment was weeks away but was offered to be on wait list for a cancellation, then was fit in sooner when one came up. Check up and cleaning was extremely thorough, very friendly team. Their covid safety protocols very evident, they show a lot of care for everyone. I plan to be back for ongoing dental care.
