We used ASAP Appliance repair services twice. The first time in 2013 to fix a leaky fridge. At that time, the repair was done to our satisfaction. We recently used their services a second time to repair a beverage cooler. After reading all the negative reviews, I must say that the only objection we have is the fact that they charge for the technician's visit in advance, which you must pay by credit card. The technician came promptly, was courteous and appeared to be competent. In this specific instance, the technician could not fix the problem, and had to locate a part first to give us a quote. After a few days, the outcome was that the part was rather expensive, therefore we decided to buy a new beverage cooler. Although we dislike the fact that we had to pay in advance for the technician's visit, we would probably use their services again.
I recently had the good fortune of using ASAP Appliance Repair to fix our Miele warming drawer and Thermador fridge. The contracts and terms were very clear, in advance. The technician called first thing in the morning as promised and came during the agreed upon time. The repairs were done professionally and thoroughly. The office staff are friendly and the technicians pleasant. I would definitely use ASAP again in the future and highly recommend.
20 seconds to ding my credit card $300. 27 days to carry out a simple washing machine repair, replace drain pump. I called their office to complain about the slow response and got the most useless unhelpful customer service I could imagine. I thought that maybe I had a call centre in Shanghai. Never again. I guess I should take some responsibility for using such a dreadful company. I should have done due diligence and checked out their reviews on the Better Business Bureau first.
Simple dishwasher repair included long wait. Miscommunication on dates and cancellation. $200 to identify problem and $75 cancellation fee. Nothing fixed. Wish we read the reviews before hiring.
What other commenters have said on here is true. My elderly father used them and same deal - can never get through to a live person, charged $200 bucks just to come out and see what's wrong, then you wait forever and a day for parts, then they come out and charge you again. I got my dad to abandon ship after the $200 charge and some of the runaround because it was ridiculous. Do NOT use these guys. Go literally anywhere else. The only thing that is ASAP is them charging your credit card the $200.
