It never ceases to amaze me how well I get treated at Best Buy.
First, this store is dog friendly (we asked permission first) which made things easy as we wouldn’t leave our dog on a hot day.
My wife and I went in to consider getting new cellphones and plans. Ben made the decision making process easy even though it didn’t result in an immediate sale. If we could be patient for a few weeks, Ben advised us that the possibility of upcoming better deals would be to our advantage. While cooperate might not like to read this, the customer loyalty garnered from service like this is not to be underestimated.
Thank you Ben! We will be back soon to make those purchases and upgrades!

First time here and Ordered online for in store pick up, and accidentally ordered the wrong thing so I had to purchase the correct item. Employee tried to argue with me that I wasn’t charged for the pick up order because I hadn’t picked it up when in fact I was and had to show them my bank statements for them to finally agree instead of telling me “I’m wrong”. As well as had a female employee blatantly lie to me about when the money would be returned onto my card, just shut me up and get me out of the store. They were closing in 30 minutes. Just to Call two days later about the refund still not being on my card When I was told it would be in 24 hours, just to have another employee tell me that it won’t be reflected for another 7 to 10 days. I understand that banks differ for refunds and the money is not my issue. My issue is that I had to argue with employees for them to believe they had charged me, as well as being lied to so I’d be happy and just leave. Which is wild to me considering how respectful I was being in such an annoying situation. Will definitely be sticking with Uptown’s Best Buy as their workers are clearly competent and know what they’re doing.

Best Buy sold in house screen protectors with an unlimited replacement guarantee for the phones lifetime a while back and so long as you bring in the scratched existing screen protector it would be replaced for free. These cost more money because of the guarantee. They changed their policy according to staff this year/last year and so using that as an excuse they did not replace the screen protector. They denied the replacement even though the old one was still attached to the phone in order to get replaced.

There’s a manager named MaryAnne who is incredibly rude to her staff. I think someone should get HR involved because I overheard her speaking to such a nice young guy (staff who was helping me) and she talked down to him and I could almost sense she was discriminating against him due to his culture. Very disappointing. Other than her the staff helping me and other customers were amazing.
