We called Tyler at Capital City Refridgeration with an issue we were having with our heat pump. Tyler was brilliant, he was in the neighborhood and came straightaway, took the time not just to resolve the issue, but ran through additional ways to optimize our heating system. A really positive experience, we highly recommend them.

Two thumbs up and 5 stars!
We contracted with Tim of Capital City Refrigeration to install a heat pump, and he and his team arrived on time and delivered on schedule despite me hovering and looking over their shoulders. At that point, they had met my expectations.
A couple of weeks after installation, I contacted Tim because I was uncomfortable with one aspect of the install, and he patiently listened then dropped everything to come over and address the issue to my satisfaction. As a result, they have exceeded my expectations.
Tim and his team are awesome, and I highly endorse them.

After the “Heat Dome of 2021” we decided it was time for a Heat Pump. I contacted the contractor who built our home 23 years ago as he knows just the right people and services after his over 40 years of building high end custom homes on the Saanich Peninsula. Without hesitation he said: Capital City Refrigeration. I contacted Capital City Refrigeration, Tyler Little contacted me, visited our home, reviewed our old gas furnace, our duct system, our vents for our two-story home, and he was impressive: prompt, efficient, friendly, and great knowledge as he has been in the Heat Pump business for over 20 years – I was impressed. In short order he sent me an estimate with cost outlining exactly what he would do and the Heat Pump best for our home. He ordered the Heat Pump. He contacted us with adequate notice that the Heat Pump had arrived, he organized the sheet metal and electrical sub-contractors, we set the install date and just like “clockwork” with Tyler, his team, the sub-contractors on schedule, and all working together for a perfect installation. The Heat Pump is working great, Tyler did an outstanding job, gave us a great explanation of the system, how to operate the system (very simple), and did great job of explaining the BC Better Homes Rebate and organized the rebate submission for us. As two retired professors, we give Tyler and Capital City Refrigeration an A+++. The contractor who built our home was right: Capital City Refrigeration is the BEST.

In a crazy busy marketplace it was a delight to deal with Tyler who provided a clear quote, customized our new heat pump system to suit our house, kept us well informed, provided a very professional installation and did it all on time and on budget, exactly as promised. Tyler at Capital City Refrigeration installed our heat pump in December 2020. It worked great until January 2022 when it started to operate erratically. Beginning February 2 I contacted them to hopefully get service. He kept putting me off until late February when he told me we had missed our opportunity. I waited until March 7 hoping for a positive response then called The competition. They arrived one and a half hours later and serviced our heat pump to our satisfaction.
