I've been going to Colwood Dental for about four years now. They've done my cavity fillings and my wisdom teeth as well as several regular cleanings and check ups. I have never had a bad experience here. The receptionists are very welcoming and kind, the hygienists are always funny and lovely conversationalists, and the dentists are punctual, quick and thorough. Everyone welcomes questions and will do their best to inform you as best they can. They also prioritize your comfort, always going above and beyond to accomodate their patients to create the best experience possible. Keep it up!
A hygienist chipped me a tooth in this place and pushed a molar. People should always ask for their dental records every time they get a work done in a dental office. If you have a good insurance plan be careful where you go. Some workers think that by hiding their bad behavior and their bad intentions before men, they are smart. It is just wrong. Remember that under earth and sky there is nothing hide. If you care for all your clients they in turn will care for you. Respectfully recognize your errors and fix them. Don't cover your mistakes but fix them.
Colwood dental has been my dental office since i was child. They have always been beyond fantastic, the staff are always super friendly, caring and helpful. All the dentists in there are beyond great so theres never a worry about which one you get. It’s always clean, appointments are always on time and ive never left there in pain or had to go back for a repair. Thank you to all colwood dental staff for taking such great care of me over the years.
Our family has been going to this dental clinic for almost 30 years. The office staff were always friendly, pleasant, and efficient…. Until the last couple of years.. The office staff has changed and there have been several times; after we have left and paid the bill, that we have gotten a notice, months later stating we still owe money for our last appointment. The explanation we got is that our insurance covers 90% so they charge us 10% and then later another person that does a different job goes over the accounting and sees that the insurance company didn’t pay all of the amount that they were charging so then they send us notice of the outstanding balance. I replied that we should be charged the actual amount owing not a guesstimate. As I tried to explain the challenges that we have been through to the newest staff member that was collecting for my recent appointment…. I was treated in an extremely dismissive manner. The staff member Sam kept pushing the point of sale machine in front of me to pay the bill as I was trying to explain to her that I wanted to make sure it was the full amount owing. She argued with me about whether or not I wanted to see a dentist ever again, when all I did was ask her if there was a charge on this appointment because I requested not to see the Dentist and pay extra, only get my cleaning done. The hygienist Rocky has always done an excellent job, been very friendly and thorough ……and we are very sad to say that we will not be returning to this office due to the challenges with billing and the rudeness with which our concerns have been treated.
I saw a hygienist named France, who apparently only works sometimes with Colwood dental. France was amazing. She was so thorough and gave me so much information. I learned a surprising Amount of new information. I hope she considers Working there permanently in the future
