I do not have words for how amazing this place is!! Marsha, Sara and all the staff at Paul Mara was exceptional. Never in my life have I experienced such immaculate professionals. They made the entire process of shopping for an engagement ring pleasant and so enjoyable. The end result was perfect and beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. I highly highly recommend this place. I highly recommend Paul Mara Jewellers!
When I was in Las Vegas this last July, I fell in love with Horseshoe Rings. Particularly yellow gold and diamond ones. I loved the myth of wearing the horseshoe face up, when not gambling, to collect luck, and then, when gambling, face down, to let the luck flow into the cards. I had to have one of my own! So, I looked around in pawn shops, and jewellers, only to be disappointed with either the price or workmanship, or both. On my wife's advice, I decided to try Paul Mara Jewellers. Upon first walking through the door, I was greeted by a friendly staff. The vibe in the air was welcoming, and I felt very much at ease discussing what I was looking for; a custom piece was no problem. Tanya and Marsha were very knowledgeable in helping me decide on the details of the ring. Did I want a hollow back, or filled? Did I want 10k or 14k? Did I prefer lab grown diamonds, or mined? What quality of diamonds? How would I like them set; channel or bead? The benefits of each option were explained, and both Tanya and Marsha were patient with my questions. Further, the quoted estimates were very fair, even though we were discussing a custom made piece. Once the details were decided, I was told a wax would be made, and I would be able to see the wax before approving the final product. The whole process was enjoyable, and there was no pressure, at all. In the end, I went with lab grown (Si1 and Si2, G and H) diamonds, bead set into a, solid back, 10k yellow gold horseshoe ring, that turned out perfect! Thank you, so much, Tanya, Marsha, and crew!
