Dustin does my personal taxes and I will never go to anyone else! He is a fantastic accountant. I also have to file in the US, and Dustin is extremely knowledgeable and patient with all my questions and worries. As an added bonus, he is pretty funny. Does your accountant make you laugh?? Dustin and his team do a great job taking care of all our tax needs, including tax and investment planning. Dustin is always available to answer questions, and give his professional advice, guiding us in the right direction. When it comes to the level of service we receive from Dustin's office, it would be impossible to find that same level of service from one of the big firms.
Our experience with our personal taxes being done by Dustin last year left a taste so bad that we are going back to a corporate tax company, for the first time since our young adult years. He took this office over from an excellent accountant and we decided to continue on with Dustin. We were told by his secretary that our fee would increase slightly and we had no problem with that as we are reasonable people-costs go up. We were not expecting a 25% increase in cost to us when it came time to pay. We paid, but decided to reach out afterwards expecting some understanding as I have all my previous charges available. I was imagining a discount towards this years services. Instead I got a less than professional conversation, that was upsetting. Life has too many ups and downs to also have them with my tax preparer, over a basic tax return.
