Andy is an outstanding captain! It was our first time to the island and he helped make our vacation one to remember! He is a straight up, let's do this kind of guy and we appreciated how hard he worked to find and get fish on. I should've posted this review a while back, but better late than never...
Our time on the boat with Captain Andy was certainly one of the key highlights of our San Juan Island adventure! We had a great time on the water trying to track down the Ling Cod we were going after, even with a bit of chilly drizzle. He knows the water well and helped guide these two newbies to the region onto the beast of a ling cod we came for! (less than an inch from being too big to keep) His friendliness, patience, and knowledge of the waters are unmatched, and I rave about our experience with him to everyone we tell about this beautiful corner of the world! I actually vac-sealed/froze what we didn't cook fresh that evening and just finished it recently, thinking fondly of our adventure with Captain Andy. Until next time!...
