We love to shop at this save on and have never had any issues. Unfortunately tonight we bought two chicken pot pies and save on hid the true size. We bought what we thought was a decent chicken pot pie for $6.99 but when we got home the pie was much smaller. I’ll put a photo so you can see, but it would be nice if save on was genuine with their packaging.

This is a convenient location close to my house in Victoria. It is well organized and always seems to have what I need. Supply chains being what they are is not the fault of the store or grocery chain. The staff have always been friendly to me and I have never had a bad experience here. Could use a bit of updating but overall a good place.. would recommend this place.

I hate coming here. The staff act like they’re in a union and are just killing time before their next break. I only come here when I have to. Today, I waited at the deli counter for 1 minute and watched six employees busy themselves behind it. None of them made eye contact. I said “excuse me” and one of them snapped at me and said “I’ll help you when I’m done, I’m making sandwiches”. Unbelievable. I had to walk to the other deli counter and ask for help. It’s so typical of the staff here. Whoever is in charge should be fired.

I always have a good experience here with employees. Today I left my keys and wallet at the self checkout and Rylah thankfully ran out and handed them back to me! I just wanna express how grateful I am for this and commend Rylah for being a great human being :) The people are what makes a great business!

I returned after a month's break from SOF, throughly convinced they hate their customers. I questioned a sale tag that was placed at the wrong product noticing at the checkout that one of two products I was buying was not on sale as I had thought. Of course it was the customer's fault for "moving items around in the store". No ownership for wrongful pricing of their product and really quick to jump to conclusions and make their customers problematic. This lady should really not be in customer service. Original post: Not even a week ago, someone forgot their sliced turkey at the check out. Forgot to put it in their bag on the way out. I grabbed it and chased after them but they were gone. I was kind enough enough to return it to the two girls minding the self checkout thinking the purchaser might return for the turkey. The girls were thankful. Today, I did the exact same thing with my bakers chocolate as I was busy price checking pumpkins. I forgot to grab my bakers chocolate from the checkout. I had not even left the store when some equally kind person snagged and pocketed my chocolate. The self checkout guy couldn't help me and told me to go to the customer service counter. She only barked at me. You know what? I had a receipt for a product I didn't have and someone walked out with my product. That would have made that person a thief and they should have honoured my non existing product with a replacement. This place really puts me in a crap mood. It irks me that this is my neighbourhoid grocery store.
