I recommend Shoreline for your roofing needs. They had reasonable pricing, responsive communications and provided quality work. I needed a new roof and deck due to remediation work and it was hard to find a company who would respond in a timely manner and who could do the work within a week or two. Ed’s quote was reasonable and he said it would take 5-7 days. He and my contractor communicated well to coordinate timing as certain projects were dependent on the roof being completed. To my surprise, there was a big crew who worked 3 full days to get everything done! The crew were reliable, polite and did a great job with the daily clean-up, which was really appreciated due to kids and pets always being around. My neighbours also appreciated that my house didn’t look like a tornado passed by. There was a supplier mix-up and the wrong vents were installed. We are very happy with our new roof! I had a quote from Ed early last year but left it. When the rains in December caused some leaking, I called Ed and despite it being Christmas/New Year's time, he organized his crew and within literally one day, five guys had 90% of the roof sheeted and re-shingled! Shoreline Roofing replaced the shingles on my residence in June, 2024. The owner of the company, Ed Combs, was always punctual and super easy to deal with. His crew was very hardworking, paid attention to details, and cleaned up the yard at the end of each day (thanks, Guy and Oni!). Ed was also able to arrange a carpenter to repair a pre-existing sag in one section (thanks, Jody!) Reasonable price, excellent quality of work. Couldn't ask for a better re-roofing experience.
The insurer wanted proof of our roof being adequate. I called Shoreline for an appraisal, which covered us, but we only had a brief bit of leeway, so I asked for an estimate. It was done quickly and I was impressed at every turn. The roof was on in quick order; looks great and the site left as clean as a whistle. I found the business on the Victoria BBB, and am happy I did. Ed Coombs and his crew are TOP SHELF!
