I just bought some groceries there today. Walking home, I remembered I forgot to buy another item. I went back to store and grabbed that one item I forgot. I usually do self checkout but there was a queue so I went to the customer service instead to pay for it. The white lady at the counter asked me if I paid for the rest of the items I already paid for and I said yes. She then punched in the last item I wanted and then I paid for it. Upon leaving, she asked if she can see the other receipt I got, so I handed it to her. I understand that she was just doing her job. The moment she asked the first time was okay but the second time when she asked for the receipt made me feel belittled. It’s as if I can’t afford to buy there just because I am a person of color. I really hope racial profiling is dead. I was offended with how I was treated.

Good place for groceries, a little pricier but worth it. You can do bottle deposits, and the fruits are fresh and high quality. Love their cakes and pastries, always delicious. They also have a good collection of fish and seafood options, making it a great spot for a variety of fresh food needs.

Tried to get basil and parsely, the only ones on sale were moldy!! And it cost $2.50. Also bought their flatbread recently and it had a piece of plastic embedded in it, hurt my partners mouth. I hope they do something to fix their bad quality of products!

I found the store to be quite pleasant well-organized and the staff to be fairly friendly definitely my favorite 50s in Victoria

I shop here when in Victoria because my daughter lives close by. Good produce and selection but pricey. Look for sales!
