My Mother was living in a Seniors Residence that was taken over by Trillium. The changes were not immediately noticeable, but after a while the decline in the quality of care was evident not only to myself, also other family members as well. I chalk this up to unqualified and inexperienced management provided by Trillium. It seems Trillium is more about the money than the care, so if you are fine with you or your loved one's assets being depleted, and being nickel and dime'd for every little extra thing, then by all means, go with Trillium. Mother is now in subsidized care, which is just as good (and in some cases better) as the care she received by Trillium.
Know this - just because you are paying top dollar for care DOES NOT mean your loved one will receive the best care!
